The slogan of this poster means "Russians love nazis". You can see here Russian famous actor Vjacheslav Tihonov in the role of Nazi officer SS-Standartenführer Max Otto von Stierlitz, who was in reality the Soviet secret service man, infiltrated into the SD - Russian Colonel Maksim Maksimovich Isaev. The film with this hero is titled "Seventeen Moments of Spring" (after the words from German actress and singer Marika Rökk's song: "Seventeen moments of April will stay in your heart..." from the last scene of the movie), it was shot in 1973 by the same name novel by Russian writer Julian Semyonov and it was one of the first Russian television serial (it includes 12 series). The film shows last days of the Third Reich and almost all its characters are Nazi officers. They look like very intellectual, exact and some times even fascinating persons. For an example Gestapo Chief Heinrich Müller in this film was claimed the best negative figure in the Soviet cinematograph. Without any doubts this film was a cult-film in USSR in its time and it is still a cult-film in Russia. And today it is showed very often by different TV-channels and the character of Stierlitz is very popular figure in modern Russian "folk epos". Although this film was the anti-Nazi work, it has made the black SS-uniform very attractive for Russian youth of all times... |
